About MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging for detailed pictures of the brain, spine, joints and organs without radiation.
MRI uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to produce highly detailed images of soft tissues. It is the preferred scan for the brain, spinal cord, nerves, joints and many abdominal and pelvic conditions, and involves no X-ray radiation.
Our MRI service supports emergency stroke imaging as well as routine scans, with reports by experienced radiologists. Contrast studies, angiography (MRA) and specialised neuro sequences are available.
