NCCT / CECT
Assam's Premier Multi Superspeciality Hospital
About NCCT / CECT
Fast plain (NCCT) and contrast-enhanced (CECT) CT scans for emergency and routine diagnosis.
A CT scan uses X-rays and a computer to create cross-sectional images of the body. A non-contrast CT (NCCT) is done without dye and is the first test for head injury and suspected stroke. A contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) uses an injected dye to show blood vessels, organs and tumours in more detail.
Our CT service runs round the clock to support emergency, trauma and stroke care, along with routine scans of the head, chest, abdomen and other areas, and CT angiography.
